About

When you work with me, you can expect a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free space where your experiences, preferences, and goals guide our work together. Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe care should feel realistic, flexible, and supportive of your life. Our sessions are collaborative—we’ll explore what’s going on, identify root contributors, and create a plan that feels achievable and sustainable.

If you’re tired of restrictive advice or feeling like you’re "doing nutrition wrong", you’re not alone. My approach is grounded in Health at Every Size (HAES) and focuses on adding to your plate and your life, rather than taking things away. That includes making space for cultural foods, celebrations, and the foods that bring you comfort and joy—because nourishment is about more than nutrients alone.

I bring extensive training in integrative and functional nutrition and have worked with patients across the lifespan and a wide range of health concerns. My background includes work at a comprehensive cancer center, where I supported patients during treatment, survivorship, and prevention. I served as the lead dietitian for a high-risk breast cancer prevention clinic, developing individualized, evidence-based nutrition strategies. I also worked in survivorship and prevention for all types of cancers.

In addition to prevention-focused care, I’ve supported individuals managing chronic conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, thyroid conditions, and gastrointestinal disorders such as IBS and IBD. I’ve also worked extensively with women navigating PCOS and the transitions of pre-, peri-, and post-menopause, with a focus on healthy aging, hormone-related changes, and quality of life over time. Together, we’ll work to untangle food guilt and unlearn unhelpful rules, creating space for flexibility, confidence, and a relationship with food that feels supportive rather than stressful.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet—I’ll meet you where you are. I’m known for being warm, upbeat, and empathetic, and I love teaching. I use simple analogies to break down complex nutrition science so it makes sense in real life and helps you feel confident making choices that are right for your body.

My goal is for you to leave our work feeling empowered, informed, and supported—not just during our sessions, but well beyond them. This is about building trust with food, reconnecting with your body, and creating sustainable change that supports your health now and through every stage of life.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: My approach is exploratory and curious—nutrition is like a voyage, and I’m here to guide you as you learn to navigate the ship on your own. We’ll build confidence through small, achievable goals, recognizing that there is no failure—only learning along the journey.

My energy: warm, encouraging, and down-to-earth.

Outside the office: I’m a hobby girl - I love crafts, volleyball on the beach, video games, going to yoga/pilates, long walks with an audiobook, or cuddling my cats Torbjorn & Alphonse (who may guest-star in sessions occasionally).

Fun/meaningful fact: I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for almost a decade, and my favorite character was Truffle, my half-mushroom druid (she loved cheese and feeding wild animals she probably shouldn’t have). Storytelling is one of my core values—whether through books, anime, D&D, or other media. I believe the stories we tell ourselves matter, and that becoming the main character of our own lives is one of the hardest—and best—decisions we can make.
