I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and have over 10 years of experience doing so. I welcome all eating disorder diagnoses or concerns of disordered eating. I welcome all gender expressions, LGBTQIA+, adults of any age, and adolescents with their families. I am passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food, exercise, and their bodies. I know that seeking support and trusting a provider with your struggles can be very difficult; I hold that trust sacred.

One of my favorite things about this work is seeing people reach the point in recovery when they say, “I finally have freedom.”

I also enjoy helping people with diabetes feel more empowered to manage their blood sugars, without a focus on weight or weight loss, or “good” or “bad” foods. We work together to find the changes that are going to be most doable and most helpful in your life based on your individual needs.

Your session with me: My approach is generally gentle and exploratory, though I am happy to provide more structure if that helps you stay on track. I love to do things together in sessions, like eating a meal, practicing with a "fear food," or even unloading the dishwasher to lower barriers to food prep

My energy: My energy is warm and open, kind yet firm

Outside of the office: I’m a big fan of complicated board games, walks (even in the Seattle rain), and travelling (especially Europe and Japan). I also love being with my kiddo and re-experiencing everything through a child's eyes

Fun/meaningful fact: I sit in an awesome video gaming chair during sessions—it's comfortable, and I love it!
