About

Hello! You deserve support that feels safe, understanding, and truly tailored to you. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, chronic dieting, and disordered eating, with over seven years of experience in the mental health field. You’ll be met with trauma-informed care shaped by experience across higher levels of care, supporting adolescents, adults, and families.

Your goals, values, and lived experiences matter. Together, you’ll be supported in making the behavioral and health changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in your life. A holistic approach means your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health are all considered—not only isolated symptoms.

You can expect an anti-diet, weight-inclusive approach, grounded in principles like intuitive eating and Health at Every Size®. This work is about helping you build trust with your body, find more ease with food and movement, and move toward a more peaceful relationship with yourself. You’ll have a space that is safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental as you move through your recovery journey—and you don’t have to do it alone.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: I will ask open-ended questions to help you gain insight into the areas you’d like to work on as you build a more supportive relationship with food, your body, and movement—and create more energy for the things you value. I aim to respect your autonomy and offer empathy and patience as you navigate the more difficult parts of recovery.

My energy: Open and honest; I find this helpful to build a therapeutic relationship and help you make progress over time. I do practice a direct approach with kindness and empathy to promote change.

Outside of the office: I enjoy gardening and cooking. Ask me what I enjoy growing, if you're curious! I also have a yellow lab, Ella, who loves to keep me company and go for walks. She is also obsessed with fetching tennis balls!

Fun/meaningful fact: I love traveling! Traveling is a great way to gain appreciation for various cultures and learn ways to incorporate a variety of foods and cultural traditions!
