About

If you are someone struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating or dysfunctional and disruptive eating habits, you're in the right place! If you are looking for support at the outpatient level of care, stepping down from a higher level of care, need help with consistency or transitioning off a meal plan, or want to explore how body image affects your relationship with food, I would love to work with you. I have spent my career building a trauma-informed approach for all genders and diagnoses; seriously men, women, non-binary/trans, kids, adults, families, all are welcome! I want you to feel supported wherever you are in life or in recovery. Treatment can feel radical. Eating disorders can be isolating. You aren't alone.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: collaboration is key! I prefer a straightforward and communicative approach where we work together. I might have the map, but you are driving the car. I recognize that food has a lot of context in our lives and am always open to hearing about "unrelated" experiences that come up because they do tend to be related in the end. We can set "hard" goals or "soft" goals, but I am always treating these like an experiment, not a pass or fail. We will almost definitely be visited by one of my three cats, and I hope your pets join us too!

My energy: I am an immovable force; nothing you say can scare me! I hold space for big emotions and quiet wins. I tend to mirror energy in an appointment to meet people with kindness and compassion, but I can be sassy as we get to know each other!

Outside of the office: You'll find me curled up with a cat and a book or attending one of my many book clubs, watching movies with my husband, working on puzzles or playing video games, attending concerts, and volunteering with my local pride community (I am a queer provider)!

Fun fact: I am reading my way through the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list. Ask me how far I am!
