About

Hi there! I’m Laura, and I’m here to help you feel more at ease around food and your body — especially if eating has started to feel overwhelming, stressful, or tangled up with your mental health. You might be navigating recovery, chronic dieting, or simply feeling stuck in cycles that don’t feel good anymore. My goal is to help you build a steadier, more trusting relationship with food that supports both your physical and emotional well-being.

I’ve spent the last decade working in mental health settings and eating disorder treatment, supporting people through everything from active recovery to long-standing patterns of disordered eating and chronic dieting. That experience means you’re met with nuance, not assumptions. Whether you’re working through an eating disorder, trying to untangle food from anxiety or depression, or looking for nutrition support that actually feels sustainable, you’ll receive care that’s thoughtful, evidence-based, and compassionate.

My approach is collaborative, structured, and nonjudgmental. We’ll work together to move away from rigid food rules, rebuild trust with your body, and create nutrition strategies that fit your real life — not an idealized version of it. You can expect sessions that feel supportive and grounding, while still helping you make meaningful progress. I want you to leave our work together feeling more confident, more regulated, and less alone in the process.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: Expect thoughtful questions that go well beyond food. I take a whole-person approach and care deeply about understanding how your mental health, stress, routines, relationships, and past experiences all impact your relationship with food and your body.

My energy: Warm, calm, and grounded — with clear structure and guidance when you need it.

Outside of sessions: I love exploring new places, trying good food, and spending time outdoors whenever I can. I value balance, curiosity, and building a life that feels full and nourishing beyond just nutrition.

Fun/meaningful fact: I once lived on a ship for 60 days sailing around the Mediterranean
