About

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a background in Eating Disorders, mental health disorders, sports nutrition/dance nutrition, food allergies and gastrointestinal disorders. I provide individualized care to better support each person and build a sense of security and confidence in their relationship with food and their bodies. I practice from an "all foods fit" and weight neutral lens with a focus on mindful and intuitive eating rather than restrictive dieting. I have worked in various levels of care for eating disorders and mental health support throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

I approach care from a weight neutral, non-diet, client centered lens. I work closely with individuals to ensure that they are moving at a pace that works well for them and recognize that everyone has differing needs and preferences when it comes to their care. I focus on compassionate care through a research-based lens. I aim to ensure that each individual whom I work with feels like they are heard and have the space to be open about challenges that may arise and celebrate the successes in our work together.

What it's like working with me

Your session with me: My approach is led by compassion and curiosity. I recognize that working on your relationship with food and body can be difficult (and sometimes scary), and will create space for any questions that you may have along the way. I view working together as collaboration and want to make sure that we can decide on goals, pace, and direction together. Sessions will include breaking down belief systems about food, building sustainable and recovery oriented behaviors, challenging and understanding diet culture, and many other things! My role is to support your recovery journey.

My energy: warm, grounded, and open-minded. I encourage honesty and transparency in sessions!

Outside of the office: I’m an avid hiker and backpacker and spend as much time in the mountains as I can with my Bernese Mountain Dog. I dance whenever I can (ballet and modern), and love to spend time with my family and friends.

Fun/Meaningful Fact: Before stepping into my role as a dietitian, I danced professionally for 8 years, which is how I developed a passion for body respect, self-compassion, and the importance of fueling. I now continue to support the dance community in my area.
