Caring for Brains and Bodies — Without Diet Culture
Feeding and eating look different for neurodivergent people. Sensory sensitivities, executive-function challenges, and interoception differences can make eating confusing or stressful.
Our clinicians provide respectful, practical nutrition care that supports both nourishment and nervous-system safety — no food shaming, no "fixing," just real support that fits real brains.
Who We Support
Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults
ARFID, selective eating, or limited variety (sensory, fear-based, or low-interest)
ADHD-related under-eating, irregular meals, or burnout around food
Our Approach
We combine neurodiversity-affirming care with evidence-based frameworks like CBT-AR, ACT, and Intuitive Eating to create safety, structure, and sustainability.
In sessions, we'll:
Map sensory needs and expand foods without pressure
Build low-stress, executive-function-friendly meal routines
Reconnect hunger, fullness, and energy cues
Support parents and caregivers with mealtime strategies
Coordinate care with therapists, OTs, and physicians
For Providers
We work across disciplines — integrating nutrition, therapy, and occupational or speech support when appropriate. All clinicians participate in supervision and case consultation to ensure quality, safety, and alignment with current ARFID and neurodiversity research.
Refer when: limited food variety, ARFID features, mealtime distress, ADHD-related under-fueling, or step-down from higher-level care.
The Bottom Line
Neurodivergent people deserve care that honors both brain and body. We help each client find nourishment, variety, and stability — on their own terms, at their own pace.
